I love food trucks.  The buzz around fabulous food on wheels is gaining more and more momentum in Edmonton and more great trucks are hitting the streets all the time.  We don't live in the City so nipping to a truck during lunchtime just doesn't work for us.  The perfect solution to fix your food truck itch is to just have them all be in the same place and the same time.  Perfect idea, yes?  Well that's where What The Truck?! comes in;

 I have always been a volunteer.  I started when I was a teen for the Red Cross and I loved giving my time for a good cause.  I wanted to give a little of the volunteer spirit to my boys so I signed me and Harry up to volunteer for What The Truck?!  Harry loves food trucks so I figured this was the perfect way to show him that giving your time is actually pretty rewarding.

The most rewarding part of volunteering at What The Truck?! is how grateful the Food Trucks are for making these events happen.  Not only do they give you a whole bunch of free food (Harry said this was actually the best part of volunteering) you get very grateful thank you's from everyone as you pass by.  It's what makes volunteering so great, that awesome feeling of being appreciated.
