DUSTING OFF THE FESTIVE COBWEBS

Monday, January 13, 2014

If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I spent just under a month in England over the festive period.  It has been a blast and the food and drink has been amazing- fish and chips, Black Sheep Ale cured gammon with duck egg, homemade pork pie, low temperature cooked beef (more on this on my blog soon!) and not to mention bacon, egg and sausage butties for breakfast all topped off with a healthy amount of bubbles!

It's time to get back on the normal train of life after Christmas- just the same but with less fairy lights!

Here are a few snaps from my trip and in case your wondering, there seems to be a champagne flute in my hand in most of the images and that is a fair assessment of my trip.

  2. It was fun following along on Instagram. The food looked AMAZING! I have never been to England, but I think I would return to Canada a good 20 pounds heavier if I went. ;)

    1. I would certainly recommend a trip to England! Just stick to the North and not the South though- I may be a little biased on that point!!
