Nothing causes panic to a vegetable grower than the threat of a night time frost.  It was action stations to gather what I could from the garden and that included a lot of green tomatoes.  Good job I like making and eating chutney!  

 Green Tomato and Apple Chutney
 All shapes and sizes, but all green!
 Turning my hot smoker into a cold smoker with a metal bin (trash can to my Canadian friends) and filling the water tray with ice.  Works perfectly by the way!
 He made me something in his kitchen, it was delicious.
 Plucked from the ground, just in time!
Roasting overripe heirloom tomatoes from Lactuca with salt, pepper and a little olive oil.  Best pasta sauce ever!
