I love making homemade foodie gifts for friends.  I have a few projects planned for the week but will kick things off with a little bling for popcorn. 

 

Simply take some sugar- you can use white, un-refined or soft brown sugar, as I did here.  Tip the sugar into a food processor and add your flavours.

 



I added cinnamon sticks, broken up a little, a couple of cloves, a little nutmeg and the rind of a clementine. Blitz the sugar. Pour the sugar through a sieve to get rid of any big lumps and place in jars.

Tell the recipient of the sugar to melt a little butter, add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Then pour it over some popped corn, mix it all around to evenly coat and enjoy!
