REVIEW: BENADRYL ITCH SPRAY

Friday, September 20, 2013

Now as much as I like living in Canada there are certain things that take a little getting use to.  Driving on the wrong side of the road, spelling tyre incorrectly (TYRE not TIRE!), -40 temperatures and those pesky mosquitos!

I was contacted to see if I wanted to try some Benadryl Itch Relief Spray- my answer, your damn right I do, send some now to stop the itching!

It didn't take long to get bitten so testing began in earnest........

The spray is cool on contact and brings instant calm to the burning itch that follows a bite.  My only concern with Benadryl Itch Spray is that it leaves a sticky circle which, collects dust, grime and general children muck leaving a grey circle wherever it has been sprayed!

So all in all there is cool relief but my advice is to wash it off before leaving the house, especially if its Date Night.  Large grey dirty circles are not pretty but then again neither are big red itchy patches so spray away!

Non-stinging BENADRYL® Itch Relief Spray contains a topical antihistamine/analgesic and a skin protectant to provide fast, effective relief at the source from itchiness and pain due to allergic reactions, poison ivy, insect bites, mild sunburn or skin irritations.

I was sent some free goodies with the Benadryl Itch Spray (see my new cool sun glasses- very much appreciated, thank you) and I chose to blog about it as it works to stem the lovely itching so spreading the news seems like a great idea!  Opinions and mosquito bites where my own.
