SPRING CLEANING: SPONSORED POST
Wednesday, March 29, 2017“I hate housework. You make the beds, you wash the dishes and six months later you have to start all over again."
― Joan Rivers
As the sun streams through the windows in all it's Spring glory it can only mean one thing: Spring Cleaning! The low sun seems to highlight all those winter streaks on the windows, sticky foot prints on the wood floors and all those dust traps under the sofa that have been collecting dust bunnies and lost Lego pieces. I love and hate Spring Cleaning in equal measures! It seems such a daunting task to tackle everything at once but here are my tips for getting the job done.........- Stock Up; buy new cleaning supplies, rubber gloves, a bucket for hot soapy water and lots of new cleaning cloths. Buy cleaning supplies that are good for your home and good for the environment.
- Donate, donate, donate; I always start a Spring Clean by taking the time to find things that my family no longer needs/uses. We bag them up and donate them.
- Make a list and share it out; I get the kids to dust the stair rails, wipe the light switches, floor boards and give them challenges to see who can find the most lost Lego from under the furniture!
- Take it one at once; I find it easier to battle one room at a time or one job at a time. I might clean every window in one round and then another day clean a whole room from top to bottom.
- Make it fun; Music, podcasts and reward Gin & Tonics make cleaning seem way more fun!

Pine-Sol® Cleaners contain no ammonia or phosphorus. They all contain biodegradable cleaning agents and all the bottles are made from recyclable PET. It all adds up to a better clean with a great smell and more time to pour yourself a nice glass of gin and tonic.

I was sent some Pine-sol to test in my home- it's really good by the way! Opinions, stories, photos, dust and children forced to do cleaning jobs were all my own.
