The problem with Homemade Mulled Wine?

My Homemade Mulled Wine
- 1 bottle of drinkable red wine (don't go wild but you should never consider cooking with wine you wouldn't like to drink by itself!)
- The peeled zest or 1 orange
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 4 tablespoons of honey
1. Stick it all in the pan and heat. Don't allow to go anywhere near the boil- your killing off the alcohol!!! Plus it will be too hot to drink.
2. Relax, put the Christmas music on and drink (Wearing a Santa Hat, sat in front of an open fire)
But to answer the question: The problem with Homemade Mulled Wine is, it goes down far too quickly!
